This term Room 1 are doing a very interesting art project.
We have designed some very original shoes. A few of the designs are: Telephones,
Wardrobes, Beavers, WaterFalls and Wolves.
We have bought in old shoes and have begun deconstructing them and sticking things on.
We hope you can come into our classroom and checkout our progress. We will put photos of the progress on the blog soon!

Rippa Rugby
Today was our last day of Rippa Rugby,
and we really loved it!
Our tournement went really well,
and I 'm not sure if we had a winner or not, but it was still great fun!
The best part was that we all got to play in our PJ's!
Keeping warm and snug in our Dressing Gowns and Onesies out in the slippery frost (we had a few falls).
Having the North Canterbury Coaches out teaching us was great fun. Thanks guys.
In term 3 we are out doing more cool stuff so watch out for some fun photos then.

Rippa Rugby
This term North Canterbury Boys come and teach us Rippa Rugby.
We are all enjoying it and are excited because on Friday this week we are doing a little tournament in our class. We like it because you get to learn more skills and the girls like it because we don't get tackled!

DRAMA LAMA
Drama lama is when Mrs Reeves comes in to school on a Wednesday and does drama with us.
We have been doing this for about 3 weeks now and we're really enjoying it.
The first week we did a scripted play called - Last Panto in Little Grimley.
The second week did theatre sports which is when you get given a topic, and you are in a group of 4 or 5 and you make up a scene about the topic you have been given.

LEARNZ
On Monday last week we started doing LEARNZ.
LEARNZ is an online virtual field trip. We have
audio conferences once a day with Andrew, our LEARNZ
teachers.
Andrew has taken about 5 ambassadors with him, including Ash
from Ashley school. He has been taking them around Rangitoto,
and we see Ash during the videos we have been watching.
What we had to do is listen to the expert and Andrew
and answer the questions that we had on our sheet.
We have had alot of fun learning about Rangitoto.
